HOW TO FIND THE RIGHT
PODCAST EDITOR
If I’m not the right fit for your needs – then I can help you find the one who is!
This 2-minute video explains how you can reach hundreds of podcast editors without ever giving them your email
The following process will help you create an online application:
Step 1: Log into your *gmail account, then CLICK HERE to copy the template form
Step 2: Change the top section of the form to describe what you are looking for
Step 3: Change any of the templated questions to fit your needs. What do you want to know about the applicant?
Step 4: Grab the link of your Google form and send the link to me: steve@stevestewart.me
Step 5: Wait 48 hours to review the submissions in your form
*Don’t want to use a gmail account? Feel free to build any kind of online application (TypeForm, JotForm, etc) and send me the link to what you create.
Once you send me the link of your form, it will be shared with members of my Podcast Editor Academy, who are individuals pursuing excellence in the services they provide – just like me!
Then sit back and wait for submissions to roll in! Review the applicant’s submissions in your Google Form and contact those who seem to be the best fit.
Note: You retain control and ownership of the form. I have no influence or visibility to the submissions or applicants thereof. This is a free service that helps me connect podcasters (you) to Podcast Editors (my professional community).
Good luck!
Questions most people include on their forms:
- Email address of applicant
- First and last name
- How many episodes do they produce on average
- Their turn-around time to complete the task
- Samples of work (before and after)
- Rate quote
- Is the rate based on each project, length of the recordings, or their time spent in post-production
